In 2021, the Chiso Gallery was reborn into its current form, encompassing Gallery 1 and Gallery 2.  As a space where “Craft and Art,” “Tradition and Creation,” and “Past, Present, and Future” intersect, it has become a place for discovering beauty.  Particularly, Gallery 2 has curated exhibitions in collaboration with contemporary artists whose sensibilities and philosophies resonate with Chiso’s own.

To mark Chiso’s 470th anniversary in 2025, the first exhibition of the year will showcase a selection of works previously presented in Gallery 2.

Through the vibrant creations of artists who capture the essence of the times we live in today, Chiso has explored diverse expressions of beauty on a global scale.  This exhibition invites you to experience Chiso’s enduring spirit of embracing new beauty and redefining value.
