The Uchikake Kimono made by Chiso on Display at the Worcester Art Museum
The Uchikake made by Chiso is currently displayed at the Worcester Art Museum (WAM) in Massachusetts, USA. It will be a part of the collection of the Worcester Art Museum.

It was originally made for the WAM's exhibition that showcasing historic and contemporary kimonos from the collection of Chiso.
The exhibition was scheduled to be held in April 2020, and has unfortunately been cancelled due to COVID-19. However, the exhibition is held in modern museum experience of virtual format, which can be viewed on the WAM's official website.
The exhibition spotlight on Chiso’s unwavering commitment to beauty over the centuries through showcasing the Chiso’s collection pieces, history, and culture, which ultimately leads to the future perspective of beauty that Chiso envisages.
We hope everyone would enjoy the virtual exhibition too.
In addition, on the second floor of the Chiso boutique, a small exhibition will be launched introducing the story behind the production of this Worcester kimono.
