Chiso Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Miho Iida.  

Iida is known for referencing famous paintings and abstracting their images.  Her works depict the expressions of figures with dots and simplified forms, offering new interpretations of well-known masterpieces.

This year, Chiso Gallery's exhibitions revolve around the theme of “Emerging through Shifting.”  
The concept explores how multiple elements coexist within a single entity or series, existing in a state of slight misalignment.  It encourages contemplation on the nature of beauty that arises from these “shifting” and the changes or new developments they bring about.

Miho Iida's technique of referencing and abstracting renowned artworks invites us to reflect on what her interpretations convey to us.  Consider the nuances and new perspectives revealed through her distinctive approach, and enjoy the discoveries that lie beyond the surface of her abstractions.
