The Chiso Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by a Japanese photographer, Tomoko Yoneda.  

At the heart of the exhibition is Yoneda's "Crystals" series, which captures and showcases the intricate beauty of ice crystals in nature, and at the same time, reflects the grandeur of the natural world and the essence of the energy of life.

This year, Chiso Gallery has centered its exhibitions around the theme of “Emerging through shifting.”  The concept explores the idea that, within seemingly unified or continuous forms, multiple elements coexist with subtle shifts or misalignments.  These elements prompt us to reflect on the nature of beauty and the changes or new developments that arise from them.

The gallery’s theme deeply resonates with Yoneda's work, creating a powerful synergy within the exhibition.  
The idea of change—responding to and triggering further change—mirrors the natural flows that surround and shape our world.
