Chiso donated 250 pieces of Iro-muji kimonos in 47 different colors, carefully dyed one by one by craftspeople, to the Kyoto Traditional Musical Art Foundation “Ookini Zaidan”, which has been dedicated to preserving and passing down the traditional performing arts of Kyoto’s Kagai (geiko and maiko districts).

For 470 years, Chiso has thrived alongside Kyoto’s rich cultural heritage. With this donation, we hope that this project will contribute to the continuation of Kyoto’s legacy of beauty and tradition for future generations.
